Fraters and Sorors:
Very commonly, people, mainly laymen and why not recognize it in this manner since sometimes people who follow the esoteric path, seek to reach knowledge as something useful, or for love of greater knowledge. Yet, they don't realize, or they don't want to know that the blessings obtained should be shared to open the channels for new blessings.
In fact, since we have come to have knowledge of the importance of this Cosmic Law, to fulfill it we share it in use by the Law of Gratitude.
Recently, after an Initiation ceremony conducted in the Rose Cross Temple at the Sovereign Headquarters of the Order, a group of Rosicrucian members decided to have dinner at a restaurant before retiring. In the course of the dinner conversation developed on certain cosmic laws and how these are reflected, both in symbolic and practical ways in Humanity's various Sacred Writings, independently of the particular tradition that has inspired the writings.
One of the Cosmic Laws to which reference was made in one of the sacred books, the Bible, is the passage that corresponds to a parable that says: To he who has much, much shall be given, and to he who has less even that will be taken away.
These words have been an enigma for laymen with little knowledge of the Cosmic Laws who have considered, in their ignorance; that the affirmation seems to be in contradiction with a fair and generous God, as well as with the Cosmic Law of Solidarity.
Since I was present at the dinner, and in view of the debate that arose, I promised the attending Rosicrucians that I would address this topic in one of the messages of the Triangle of Light as I am addressing this message for the Rose Cross Lodges and Triangles to clear up doubts raised by some of those present on that occasion, so that all present at Convocations in Rose Cross Lodges can benefit from this topic and know how to apply it in their daily life, as all the members of our Venerable Order who are reading this message and in this way complying with the law of the Solidarity as well as the Law of Gratitude, which we will consider on this occasion.
The biblical statement: "To him who has much, much shall be given and to him who has little, even what he has will be taken away” is correct as all esoterics, and especially Rosicrucians know, and doesn’t imply any type of injustice lack of solidarity, but just the opposite.
In it several Cosmic Laws are implied, the most important of which we highlight: the Law of Karma, the Law of Creation, the Law of Love, also known as the Law of the Attraction, and the Law of Gratitude.
The Law of Karma, called the Law of Cause and Effect on some occasions, is not a law of reward and punishment as some fond of esotericism try to explain with sayings like, “He or she has terrible karma!” when referring to somebody going through difficult circumstances. This denotes a profound ignorance of this fundamental law in which Cosmic Justice is summarized.
The Law of Karma is basically a law of justice and learning by means of which, when receiving according to what has been generated, one has the opportunity to learn how to guide their life and thoughts.
Likewise, the Law of Creation and the Law of Love, or Law of Attraction, establishes that in accordance with certain cosmic mechanisms all people create and attract the conditions of their life, being able to build in this way the existence that they desire to have.
All the Rosicrucian students who have had some time learning in our Venerable Order know that it is the powerful application of the power of our mind that produces certain magnetic qualities in our aura, creating conditions that attract what our mind has conceived to us.
When one makes the statement “we are what we think", they are saying a great truth of the Universe. Since the Universe is the result of the creative thought of God, and as thinking entities we have the capacity to create with our thought, whether things or circumstances, that are fair and good for us and for others.
In fact we can affirm that one of humanity’s sacred inheritances, one of our higher abilities, is that of being able to build with our minds and intelligence, especially if the Cosmic Laws are known and employed in the process, the existence that we want to have, fulfilling our dearest aspirations.
It is difficult to make laymen understand (those that are not in line with esoteric learning) that we can create using our higher abilities, those things or circumstances that we need. But all Rosicrucians know this because they study and experience what is one of the great truths that we can all apply in daily life.
When we make the statement that appears in the Sacred Writings: To the one who has much, much shall be given etc. we understand that in accordance with the law and cosmic justice, karma, that for those having the ability to create new conditions in life by means of using their natural abilities such as effort, intelligence, creativity etc. the Law of Karma will take charge of teaching until we are conscious that if we do not create something new and better, enriching our life with that which brings happiness to ourselves and others, what they don't know how to use will be removed until one day the person learns how to create and share.
In fact this last point, that of sharing, needs special attention because if we create something higher but we don't share with the others we are creating a situation far from Cosmic Law and, in consequence, we can lose what we have acquired.
The Cosmic Law is expansive in such a way that God, who is Supreme Love, is disposed to sharing all gifts with those who are harmonized with Him, with the Universe, and with the Laws that govern this Universe.
When we behave with generosity toward the others, sharing the gifts with those who are worthy we create an opening condition by means of which we open up to cosmic opportunities.
The Cosmic, whose nature is universal, seeks to find channels by means of which it can carry out the greater good.
If we, besides evolving our conscious, share the gifts that we receive through the Universal Creative Laws, we become cosmic channels; agents of the divine. By this means one can create much good for others, which is the essence of the purpose of Creation.
Simply, in the measure that we share our gifts with others we condition ourselves to receive further blessings that, without a doubt, will be granted to us to continue sharing with others. While if we think in a selfish way that what we have reached is ours alone, and that we don't have to share it with others, we are closing to the cosmic gifts as we are not the proprietors of things, but only the administrators of them by divine privilege. Nobody can take to the other world anything of what is possessed in this one except the spiritual evolution that we are able to acquire.
It is very important to understand this point well; while we live on the material plane we are the administrators of that which has been granted and ultimately, the true proprietor of everything is God who created all things and gave everyone the power of administering what has been put at their disposal, leaving everything when they return to the spiritual world.
For this reason if we administer the gifts of God in a selfish way, we are closing the doors to new gifts being granted to us in the Universe. If we live in a positive way and in accordance with the Cosmic Law, we should have solidarity toward those who, not being evolved enough, need our help.
Those who are sufficiently aware, and that supposes a certain degree of positive evolution, are grateful for all that they enjoy. They feel gratitude for being alive, for the wonderful operating mechanisms of the universe, for the air that they breathe, for the water that they drink, for the rest that they are granted; they feel grateful because they have been granted the ability to love others and the more they love, more love they receive. They feel grateful because they have been granted the ability to feel, to think and learn, helping to understand others and they are given wisdom.
It is true that someone is very rich who, independently of how much or little they possess, is able to share, and very miserable if, having everything in the world they are not able to make others happy by sharing what has been put at their disposal.
It is the Law of Gratitude that good fruits come to those who practice their ability to share something with others.
Someone who wants to be fulfilled and attain more in this life should practice the Law of the Gratitude, sharing with others.
If they feel happy about something that has come to them, bring that happiness to their family; share it with them and if it is possible, with others also.
If they feel at peace, make an effort to comfort to those who have not attained that divine gift. A simple smile can mean more to somebody that needs it than the greatest of fortunes.
If someone has the time, they can help relatives, friends, or do some charity work, when others have need of their services. How gratifying it is for example when we have helped a friend to paint their house and after finishing the task, during a time of rest, we laugh and share with those with whom we worked!.
Dedicate something of what you gain, even a very small amount, to contribute to a good cause. Many of our members, regularly, send us contributions, sometimes very modest, because they know that those funds help the Order in its mission of spreading the Light, and also their contributions help some good institution that they are in for its mission of assisting those who need help.
When applying the Law of Gratitude you fulfill the Cosmic Law and create the conditions that bring new blessings. When sharing everything that you have with others, and everything should not be considered only in the material sense, you are demonstrating that you have it, and for this reason will be given more.
May Peace Profound dwell in your hearts.
