This very rare old book contains the first compilation of the complete works of Francis Bacon, Imperator of the Rosicrucian Order in England and probable author of the works attributed to William Shakespeare.
Written completely in Latin as that was the learned language of the time, it has within its pages, especially in the work titled "The New Atlantis", references to Rosicrucian works of centuries past.
The New Atlantis expounds on the principle of a utopian society and through the use of symbols reveals that Bacon was referring to a school, or a community, of Rosicrucians. |
