This magnificent and artistic diploma, written on parchment in Latin, refers to the appointment as a Knight of the Rosicrucian, "Equitum Rosae Crucis", of the Rosicrucian brother Jean Duchesne, celebrated French iconographer who is remembered by a large collection of his work now preserved in the National Library of France.
The diploma is signed by high initiates of France, some of them quite well known, and next to the signature of each one of them are the signs and symbols of degree that continue to be used by the Rosicrucian Order to this day. |
